Summit Objectives

The objectives of the 2024 PSAC BC Young Workers Summit are:

  • To gather PSAC Young Workers in person to discuss issues and present those issues to the broader PSAC Membership;
  • To provide an opportunity to hear from, share experiences and talk about challenges faced by those in leadership positions (past and present) who have mobilized around these issues;
  • To gain skills and tools on how to effect change in our political landscape inside and outside of the union; and,
  • To challenge participants to develop their own political action skills and empower them to bring these skills to their respective Young Worker Committees.

The application deadline is Friday, August 23, 2024 at 11:59 PM Mountain. You can apply using the online form on the PSAC North regional website. If you require an alternate format for your application, please call the PSAC North REVP’s office at 867-669-0991 or contact Executive Assistant to the REVP Aly Gallant by email at gallana@psac-afpc.com.
