NEU Service Officer – Cambridge Bay, Nunavut
This is an indeterminate position based in Cambridge Bay. However, the successful candidate will be required to work in Iqaluit for the first two to three months of employment before settling into the Cambridge Bay office. The Service Officer is the main point of contact for NEU Members and some of the main duties are:
- Ensuring collective agreements are respected and Members' rights are protected;
- Providing representation to NEU Members;
- Organizing Members into well-functioning Locals; and
- Coordinating the active participation in the bargaining process.
Salary starts at $104,202.98 and a complete Northern Benefits Package is offered. Staff housing is provided.
