Sunday June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day a day marked to celebrate and explore the cultural diversity and importance of the Inuit, First Nations and Métis peoples. As with so many important events and celebrations COVID-19 health concerns mean that public celebrations related to this day have been cancelled. The Government of Canada is asking all Canadians to celebrate and mark "this year's National Indigenous History Month and National Indigenous Peoples Day at home."
