The NEU is happy to announce that Collective Agreements have been reached with the Hamlet of Arctic Bay (March 18) and the Rankin Inlet Housing Association (March 23). 

The NEU would like to thank Thomas Levi, Paul Oqallak and James Qavavauq of the Arctic Bay Bargaining Team as well as Kevin Lagace and Margo Simik from the Rankin Inlet Housing Association Bargaining Team for their hard work and dedication throughout the respective bargaining processes.

The Agreement reached with the Hamlet of Arctic Bay was seven years in the making and the NEU is glad that Members working for the Hamlet of Arctic Bay now have a new and fair agreement. This agreement and the one reached with Rankin Inlet Housing Association would not be possible without the selfless dedication of the five Members mentioned above.
