The Nunavut Employees Union (NEU) 8^th Triennial Convention that was originally scheduled to be held in Iqaluit, Nunavut in 2020 (Oct. 6-8) will now be held October 5^th to ^7th, 2021 in Nunavut's Capital. The rescheduling of the Convention is due directly to current Territorial and National COVID-19 public health concerns.

 

The NEU's current Executive (including President William (Bill) Fennell) will continue to serve our Members through to the (now) 2021 Triennial Convention. Call-Outs for Resolutions, Nominations and Executive Elections will be (re)held in 2021 in advance of the Convention in accordance with NEU By-Laws.

 

The NEU Executive thanks all Members who participated in the original Call-Outs by submitting resolutions or by putting forth their name or the name of a fellow Member for Nomination or Election. The NEU also thanks Members for their patience and understanding as we all navigate these uncertain and unprecedented times together.
