The NEU urges the Nunavut Legislature to enact Bill 31, "an act to amend the human rights act". Bill 31 would add the words "gender identity, gender expression" to the Nunavut Human Rights Act, extending to Transgender individuals the same protection from discrimination and harrassment that everyone in Nunavut is entitled to.
